Ingredients:

  • ¾ cup uncooked grits
  • 3 cups chicken broth
  • ¼ tsp. garlic salt
  • ¾ cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1/8 tsp. cayenne pepper
  • 3 tbsp. butter
  • 2 minced garlic gloves
  • 2 lbs. peeled and deveined shrimp
  • ½ tsp. Old Bay seasoning
  • 1 tsp. lemon juice
  • Salt to taste

Directions:

  1. Prepare the grits according to directions but use chicken broth and stir in the garlic salt and cayenne pepper. Keep warm.
  2. Heat the butter in a large skillet and sauté the garlic for 1 minute.

Ingredients:

  • 1 lb. large peeled and deveined shrimp
  • 1 tsp. Old Bay seasoning
  • ½ tsp. garlic powder
  • 8 oz. linguine pasta
  • ¼ cup butter - divided
  • 4 minced garlic cloves
  • 3 tbsp. white wine
  • 1 tbsp. lemon juice
  • ¼ cup finely shredded Romano cheese
  • ½ cup heavy cream
  • ½ tsp. red pepper flakes

Directions:

  1. Generously season the shrimp with the Old Bay seasoning and garlic salt and let sit for 30 minutes.
  2. Prepare the linguine in a pot of boiling salted water for 10 minutes.
  3. Drain and set aside.
  4. Melt 2 tbsp. butter in a skillet and sauté the garlic for 1 minute.

  • Salt to taste
  • 1/3 cup mayonnaise
  • 1/3 cup sour cream
  • ¾ cup cooked and chopped shrimp
  • 6 oz. drained crabmeat
  • 2 tbsp. lemon juice
  • ½ tsp. Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 tsp. Old Bay seasoning
  • ½ tsp. hot sauce – optional heat

Directions:

  1. Preheat the oven to 350 degrees.
  2. Combine the cheeses, chopped artichoke heart, scallions, salt, mayonnaise, sour cream, shrimp, and crabmeat in a baking dish.
  3. Gently stir in the lemon juice, Worcestershire sauce, Old Bay seasoning, and hot sauce, if using.
  4. Bake for 20 minutes.
